Managing modules

 

Modules are the basic units of work within BMC Atrium Orchestrator. You can use BMC Atrium Orchestrator Development Studio to create modules, and modules are available from BMC Software as part of specific solutions. Use Grid Manager to activate and deactivate them and to manage their schedules. This section includes the following topics:

You can create modules in BMC Atrium Orchestrator Development Studio or install modules from BMC Software, but before they are available to peers on the grid, you must activate them on the grid. You use Grid Manager to activate and configure modules on the grid.

Although you can use BMC Atrium Orchestrator Development Studio to configure a module, the module configuration is not available across the grid until you export the module to the repository and then activate it on the grid.
