Logging onto Grid Manager and Repository Manager
You log onto Grid Manager or Repository Manager using a web browser.

Before you begin
- You must be logged on as a user who is assigned the administrator or repository administrator role.
- You must use a supported browsers on the client computer (listed on BMC Solution and Product Availability and Compatibility Utility).
- You must have the Adobe Flash Player plug-in installed on the client computer.
To log onto Grid Manager
From a web browser, navigate to the appropriate URL for the protocol that you are using:

- FullyQualifiedDomainName represents the host name of the server and the domain name where the configuration distribution peer (CDP) is installed (for example, localhost.bmc.com or server1.bmc.com)
- CDPWebServerPort represents the actual web server port defined during the CDP server installation. (The default port number is 38080.)
The BMC Atrium single Sign-On logon page is displayed.
2. Log on using your Grid Manager user name and password.
Security is provided through user accounts created in BMC Atrium Single Sign-On. BMC Atrium Single Sign-On defines the administrator user group. Use an account that is a member of the administrator user group to assign additional user accounts as needed. The administrator account covers all of the actions that you can perform in Grid Manager.
To log on to Repository Manager
You can access and log onto Repository Manager from a web browser or you can access Repository Manager from Grid Manager if you are already logged onto Grid Manager.
To log onto Repository Manager from a web browser
From a web browser, use the appropriate URL to access the Repository Manager:

- FullyQualifiedDomainName represents the host name of the server and the domain name where the repository is installed (for example, localhost.bmc.com or server1.bmc.com).
- repoWebServerPort is the web server port that was defined during installing the repository. (The default port number is 28080.)
The BMC Atrium Orchestrator Atrium Single Sign-On logon page is displayed.
Log on by using the appropriate credentials.
To access Repository Manager from Grid Manager
- When logged onto Grid Manager, from the Applications list, select Repository Manager.
- Log on using the appropriate credentials.
