Testing the Copy Files in Directory workflow
In this task, you verify that the top-level process copies all the files in one directory to another.
Before you begin
To test the process, you must know the names of the source directory and the target directory. These directories must be on the peer where the ro-adapter-command-line adapter is enabled.
To test the Copy Files in Directory process
- If the Copy Files in Directory process is not open on the BMC Atrium Orchestrator Development Studio process canvas, double-click it.
- In the toolbar below the menu bar, click ExecuteProcessAction
. - In the Execution Mode dialog box, select Test as if triggered by a rule, schedule or SOAP, and then click OK.
- In the Job Input Parameters dialog box, double-click in the Value field for the source dir parameter and type the name of the directory from which you want to copy the files.
- In the Job Input Parameters dialog box, double-click in the Value field for the destination directory parameter and type the name of the directory to which you want to copy the files.
- Click OK.
BMC Atrium Orchestrator Development Studio runs the Copy Files in Directory process. The console window opens below the process canvas, and the Process Log tab displays the results of the process execution. - Review the contents of the console window and verify that the last line in the console window is The process terminated in the completed state.
This message indicates that the process that you created ran to completion. - Connect to the peer that executed the process, and verify that the files were copied into the destination directory.
