Infoblox NIOS adapter

Infoblox NIOS provides centralized management of core network services such as Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), and IP address management (IPAM).

The Infoblox NIOS actor adapter is based on the Command Line adapter's non-session approach. The adapter executes custom-bundled Perl scripts on the local host or peer on which the adapter is enabled. The peer creates the remote connection with the Infoblox Grid Manager and executes the specified operations.

The adapter supports version 6.3 of the Infoblox NIOS application.

Typically, this adapter interacts with an IPAM system during a provisioning request to obtain an IP address and create DNS entries.
