Module for the Exchange 2003 adapter

Each application-adapter-supported operation has a corresponding process in the adapter module. Top-level processes perform high-level functions and call specialized processes in subdirectories. Each subdirectory contains process directories that correspond to the supported operation types.

Top-level processes

The details for the top-level processes of the Microsoft Exchange 2003 adapter are:

  • The module name is AO-AD-Microsoft_Exchange_v2003.
  • The processes are under version-specific folder v2003. The version v2003 folder is applicable to SetupValidation and Utilities folder processes.
  • The default adapter name in the wrappers is MicrosoftExchangeActorAdapter.
  • The adapter module does not have any top-level wrappers as the functional categorization is more meaningful.
  • A sample Use Case showcasing the integration of the adapter with BMC Event Manager to cleanup the Disk Space on Exchange Server, is included in the Use Case > Use Case 1 process directory.

SetupValidation directory

The processes in the SetupValidation directory contains sample values for request elements. These sample values can be changed to reflect the values in your environment.

  • Mailbox Management
  • Queue Management
  • Disk Space Management

Utilities directory for Microsoft Exchange 2003

The Utilities directory contains the following helper processes:
