Base adapter enhancements in version 20.13.01

The following BMC Atrium Orchestrator base adapters have been enhanced with new features and changes:

• • Changes to the File adapter
  • Windows 2012 Server support for some terminal adapters
  • Added a new element in the SQL adapter configuration to specify the connection timeout

Changes to the File adapter

The File adapter has been enhanced to read an XML file that uses Universal Character Set (UCS) Transformation Format (UTF-8) encoding with a byte order mark (BOM).

Windows 2012 Server support for some terminal adapters

The following base adapters support Microsoft Windows 2012 Server 64-bit, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 64-bit, Linux Suse 10.4 64-bit, Linux Suse 11.2 64-bit, and Oracle Solaris Sparc 10 64-bit as the OS on the remote target computer:

• Telnet
• FTP
• Command Line
• SSH
• SCP
• SFTP

Added a new element in the SQL adapter configuration to specify the connection timeout

You can use the

element to specify the connection properties, in a string format, when you use a Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) driver to establish a connection.
