Application adapter enhancements in version 20.13.01


The following new features and changes have been added to the BMC Atrium Orchestrator application adapters:

Added a new element in the NetApp Storage adapter configuration to specify the connection timeout

You can use the

element to set the connection timeout value for establishing a connection with the server during initialization and reading data from the server socket.

Enhancements in the VMware Infrastructure adapter

The VMware Infrastructure adapter now supports VMware vSphere version 5.1.

A new <disk-key> element has been added to the

and
Remove Hard Disk
operations. You can use this element to uniquely identify a hard disk if two or more hard disks on the same virtual machine have the same labels.

A new <num-cores-per-socket> element has been added to the Update CPU Configuration operation. This element which specifies the number of cores among which you distribute virtual CPUs in the virtual machine is applicable only if you are using VMware vSphere 5.0 or later.

Enhancements in the VMware vCloud adapter

The following enhancements have been made to the VMware vCloud adapter:

Added a new element in some operations in the Infoblox adapter to support scheduling

The following operations now include the new <scheduled-at> element, which enables scheduling:

New method for showing known and corrected issues

"Known issues and workarounds" has been retitled Known-and-corrected-issues-for-application-adapters and the table holds more information. Open (known) and resolved issues are together in one topic, giving you one place to find issues that pertain to this release.

Additional supported versions for some application adapters

The following application adapters now support version 8.3 of their corresponding products:
