ADAM actor adapter requests and responses


The Active Directory Application Mode (ADAM) is a light-weight implementation of Active Directory. The ADAM adapter supports Windows 2003 server and Windows XP.

Note

There is no monitor adapter for ADAM.

The adapter now uses the XCmd.exe utility. For more information about LE support, see the <character-set> element in Configuring the BMC Atrium Orchestrator Application Adapter for Microsoft Active Directory.

The adapter response varies based on whether the adapter uses the xCmd.exe utility or the rctrlx.exe utility. For sample adapter responses, see Actor adapter response schema for ADAM.
