Deprecation of elements

Starting with the 20.12.01 release, the <use-ssl-certificate> element is deprecated for the Web Services and HTTP adapters and the <transport> element is deprecated for the Web Services adapter. As a result, these elements are now obsolete for the following application adapters:

  • BMC Atrium Orchestrator Application Adapter for BMC Atrium Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
  • BMC Atrium Orchestrator Application Adapter for BMC Network Automation
  • BMC Atrium Orchestrator Application Adapter for BMC Server Automation
  • BMC Atrium Orchestrator Application Adapter for BMC Database Automation
  • BMC Atrium Orchestrator Application Adapter for Dell Advanced Infrastructure Manager
  • BMC Atrium Orchestrator Application Adapter for HP Operations Manager (for Windows)
  • BMC Atrium Orchestrator Application Adapter for HP Service Center
  • BMC Atrium Orchestrator Application Adapter for HP Service Manager
  • BMC Atrium Orchestrator Application Adapter for NetApp Rapid Cloning Utility
  • BMC Atrium Orchestrator Application Adapter for Service-Now
  • BMC Atrium Orchestrator Application Adapter for VMware Infrastructure
  • BMC Atrium Orchestrator Application Adapter for VMware vCloud

Note

Although these elements are deprecated, modules and adapter operations continue to expose them for backward compatibility. However, specifying their values does not have any effect because the modules and adapter operations use the default values based on the protocol used in the target.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
