Using the BMC Database Automation adapter in SSL and non-SSL modes

The BMC Database Automation adapter operates in a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) mode and non-SSL mode. You can access the BMC Database Automation application's REST-based API using either Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) or Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS). When the BMC Database Automation application is in the SSL mode, the BMC Database Automation application adapter must also be enabled in the SSL mode.
