Viewing the policies listing


TrueSight Network Automation is delivered with a set of predefined policies that you can customize to support your network environment and IT practices. You can also create new policies.

To access and view the list of policies

  1. In the TrueSight Network Automation console, click the Policies tab, and then select Policies > Policies.

    The list of policies is displayed. By default, all policies are in the disabled state. You can enable a policy by clicking the check box in the Actions column.

  2. (Optional): Perform one of the following tasks by using the menu options that are available on the Policies page:

    Menu option

    Description

    Add

    Open the Add a Policy page to enter data for a new policy. See Adding-or-editing-a-policy.

    Print View

    Print the current view.

    Refresh

    Update the page with the latest policy information.

    Help

    Open the related topic in the TrueSight Network Automation online technical documentation.

  3. (Optional): Perform one of the following actions on a policy:

    Open a page that contains the details for the associated policy.

    Edit

    Open the Edit a Policy page to make changes to the associated policy. See Adding-or-editing-a-policy.

    Icon_Copy.png

    Copy

    Open the Copy a Policy page to make a copy of the associated policy. 

    Icon_Delete.png

     Delete

    Delete the associated policy.

    Icon_Enable.png

    Enable/Disable

    Enable or disable the use of the associated policy by the TrueSight Network Automation system. Only enabled policies will ever trigger.
