Troubleshooting discrepancy issues

For the Cisco Nexus devices, TrueSight Network Automation shows discrepancies between the startup and running configurations due to insertion of the logging level or feature commands in the device configuration in an incorrect sequence.

Fix: To resolve the issue, follow these steps:

  1. Export the Cisco Nexus device adapter.
  2. Add the following lines to the <sortedCommands> tag in the device adapter:

    <line trails="02C89A1F-A5D2-44B0-AE1E-B714EB0E3FAF, 1D168B48-15CC-416E-AB4A-88E2E7104E2D" makeContiguous="true">^feature .*</line>
    <line trails="02C89A1F-A5D2-44B0-AE1E-B714EB0E3FAF, 1D168B48-15CC-416E-AB4A-88E2E7104E2D" makeContiguous="true">^logging level .*</line>
  3. Import the device adapter.
  4. Run the Refresh Device Status action on the required Cisco Nexus devices.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
