Adding or editing sites in Multi-Server Administration


This topic describes how to add, edit, or delete sites in TrueSight Network Automation – Multi-Server Administration.

Note

Only the msaadmin user has the rights to add, edit, or delete a site.

To add a site in Multi-Server Administration

  1. Lon on to Multi-Server Administration with the msaadmin user credentials.
    The Manage Sites page appears.
  2. Click Icon_Add.png
    The Add Site page appears.

    In the Site URL field, enter the site URL for the TrueSight Network Automation application server that you want to add as a site in the following format: 
    <tsnaApplicationServerHostName> | IP Address>:<portNumber>.
  3. Click Verify to ensure that you have entered the URL correctly. 
    If you have entered the URL correctly, the Site Name and Description fields are populated automatically. These fields are populated automatically if they have been entered into the system parameter for that TrueSight Network Automation application server on the Edit System Parameters page.
  4. Confirm whether the Site Name field is populated. If not, enter a name for the site.
  5. (Optional) In Description, enter or update the description for the site.
  6. Click Submit.
    A message confirms that site is added and the Manage Sites page is populated with the site.

    The Manage Sites page shows the following details for the added site:

    Column

    Description

    Site URL

    Displays the URL of the application server that you added as the site.
    When you click this link, you are directed to the login page of the TrueSight Network Automation GUI for that application server.

    Site Name

    Displays the default name or the name you added.

    Description

    Displays the default description or the description you added.

    Status

    Displays whether or not the application server is running indicated by the the following values:

    • Online
    • Offline

    Actions

    Displays the actions that you can perform on a site, such as edit and delete.

To edit a site in Multi-Server Administration

  1. For the site you want to edit, click Edit in the Actions column.
    The Edit Site page appears.
  2. Optionally, modify the site name or description.
  3. Click Submit
    Edited details appear on the Manage Sites page.

To delete a site from Multi-Server Administration

  1. For the site you want to delete, click Delete in the Actions column.
  2. When prompted for confirmation, click Yes.
    A message confirms that the site is deleted. The deleted site no longer appears in the sites list.
