Reconciling changes to an external process or tool


All Jobs have a Change ID field to track Jobs executed for an external change ticket. Under Admin > System Admin > System Parameters, the administrator can make this a required field by selecting the Enable Requiring User to Enter Change ID for Jobs parameter.

Multiple span actions can be tagged to the same Change ID. From the Network > Jobs, users can view details on any Job ID.

In addition, external change management tools can audit all changes for the change ticket by launching a Job Summary report URL for the Change ID (see Job URL listings).
