Viewing the OS image library
This topic provides instructions on viewing the images in the OS iage library.
TrueSight Network Automation lists the binary images on the OS Images page. Through the OS Image Filter page, you can filter the list of OS images based on various attributes.
Viewing the list of OS images
To view the list the OS images, go to Admin > Network Admin > OS Images. By default, OS images are sorted by Vendor. To sort on a different column, click the column heading. You can view the OS image details by clicking its name. Click the link in the File Name column to extract an OS image binary from the library.
In this list, you can distinguish how complete an image is by the contents of the Name and File Name columns, as follows:
- If only a Name is populated, the image was discovered from a live device, but includes no binary data. This image cannot be deployed.
- If only a File Name is populated, the image was manually added (using the Add option). This image has never been deployed, however, it can be deployed.
- If both a Name and a File Name are populated, this image is known to have been running on a live device and includes the binary data. This image can be deployed.
You can add to, filter, and refresh the OS images list. Also, you can create and mange views that display items based on your favorite filters.
Use the Actions icons to edit, copy, or delete an OS image.
