Modifying job email default values

The job.properties file controls the default settings for the Job State Change emails. A set of defaults can be specified that apply when you add a new job or a new policy. The defaults include a list of states for which to send an email, a true/false flag to indicate if the creator should receive the email, a true/false flag to indicate if the approver should receive the email, and a list of other e-mail addresses.

A job.properties sample file is located in the BCAN_HOME/public/bmc/bca-networks/conf directory. To change the default settings, copy the job.properties file to the BCAN_DATA directory and modify it.

The following sample sets up the default email options to be sent to the creator and two other addresses if the job is aborted, rejected, completed with warning, or completed with errors.
