Mapping for the CiscoWorks Data Extraction Engine XML format

The import task maps the CiscoWorks Data Extraction Engine (DEE) XML inventory file as described in the following table.

The CiscoWorks Data Extraction Engine XML format has been marked deprecated in version 20.02 of TrueSight Network Automation. This format will not be available in future versions.


 

Occasionally, CiscoWorks places unreadable control characters in the export file. The file can be validated by opening a browser that supports XML, such as Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer lists the lines in the export file that have errors. You can use a text editor to correct these errors before importing the file into the software.
