Viewing a Discrepancy Details report
The Discrepancy Details report is launched from a parent page that identifies the discrepancy.
To view and interpret the Discrepancy Details report
- Launch a report such as the Discrepancy Summary Report and then, click the View Discrepancy Details Report
icon in the Running vs Trusted Running column.
The Discrepancy Details report displays a side-by-side comparison of the following configuration file discrepancies based on the selected report criteria.- Current Running versus Startup
- Current Running versus Trusted Running
- Current Startup versus Trusted Startup
- Current Running OS Image versus Trusted Running OS Image
- Use the Full View toggle button to display the following views:
- Difference Only View: To view only the differences between the files, with a few lines of surrounding context (default).
- Full View: To view all configuration lines, side-by-side.
Review the legend information as shown in the following table to interpret the results:

The Actions area of the report lists hyperlinks for job actions that are appropriate to the type of discrepancy displayed in the report. The available actions for each type of discrepancy are as follows:
- Current Running versus Startup: Commit and Reboot
- Current Running versus Trusted Running: Deploy to Active (Trusted Running) and Mark as Trusted
- Current Startup versus Trusted Startup: Deploy to Stored (Trusted Startup) and Mark as Trusted
- Current Running OS Image versus Trusted Running OS Image: none
- Click the Action hyperlink.
The Discrepancy Details Report pop-up window and the parent window close, and the Job Editor is displayed, along with the respective Action Editor popup window.
