Viewing a Change Details report

The Change Details report displays the changes between two configurations. Event occurring before the change (for example, who made the change) and after the change (for example, impact of change) are included in the report.

To view and interpret the Change Details report

1. Launch a report such as the Change Summary Report and then, click the View Change Details Report  icon.
   
   

2. (Optional): Perform one of the following tasks by using the menu options that are available on the Change Details Report page:

   Menu option	Description
   Export	Export the report to one of the following formats: HTML PDF RTF
   Email	Email the report to one or more recipients in one of the export formats.

3. Use the Full View toggle button on top of the page to display one of the following views:
   
   1. Difference Only View: To view only the differences between the files (default).
   2. Full View: To view all configuration lines, side-by-side.

4. Review the legend information as shown in the following table to interpret the results:

   This macro generates standalone content. As a consequence you need to make sure to use a syntax that separates your macro from the content before and after it so that it's on a line by itself. For example in XWiki Syntax 2.0+ this means having 2 newline characters (a.k.a line breaks) separating your macro from the content before and after it.
