Check for announcements that might affect future releases of the product. These changes can affect the way in which you configure or run the installed version of TrueSight Network Automation.

Deprecated features and components

Deprecated features are still available in the product or service. However, they are no longer under active development and might be discontinued from the product in the future. We encourage you to plan and implement the recommended change.

Web Services  (Soap ) API

If you are still integrating with TrueSight Network Automation using the Web Services API, we encourage you to migrate your integration to the REST API version 4.0

REST API versions 1.0, 2.0, 2.1, and 3.0

If you are still integrating with TrueSight Network Automation using the older REST API versions 1.0, 2.0, 2.1, and 3.0, we encourage you to migrate your integration to the REST API version 4.0.

Device import task formats 

The following device import task formats are deprecated: 

  • CiscoWorks Data Extraction Engine XML
  • HP Network Node Manager 7.x Data Warehouse: We encourage you to use the HP Network Node Manager 8.x/ 9.x.
  • BMC Discovery and Dependency Mapping 10.2 (XML API): We encourage you to use the BMC Discovery 11.0+ (REST API) or BMC Discovery 11.0+ (XML API).

Discontinued features and components

Discontinued features are no longer available in the product or service.
