Configuring Entuity Network Analytics to receive SNMP trap events
The primary means of Network Automation notifying Entuity Network Analytics is using SNMP traps. Follow these steps to load and format Network Automation SNMP trap events into Entuity Network Analytics:
Copy the EmprisaNetworksV2C.mib file into the Entuity Network Analytics MIB folder:

- Restart the Entuity Network Analytics server services.
- In the Entuity Network Analytics Web UI, click the Contents tab. Click All Objects to see the hierarchy of devices. Right-click any of the devices, and select MIB Browser. Under ALL MIBS > iso > org > dod > internet > private > enterprises > emprisaNetworks > eNetAware > eNotifications > eNotificationsPrefix, you should see eight trap definitions.

Configuring an SNMP Manager for Entuity Network Analytics in TrueSight Network Automation
Perform the following steps to log in to Network Automation and configure an SNMP Manager record that corresponds to Entuity Network Analytics:
- Open the SNMP Managers page by navigating to Admin > Network Admin > SNMP Manager Stations.
- Click Add.
- In the Address field, enter the IP address or host name of the computer hosting Entuity Network Analytics. If Entuity Network Analytics is co-located with Network Automation then enter the IP address of the local machine.
- Select v2C for the Version field and the appropriate value for the Trap Community field.
- Click Save.
Network Automation can notify Entuity Network Analytics concerning a wide variety of configuration events. See Configuring-configuration-discrepancy-notification for a couple of examples of setting up Network Automation policies to notify Entuity Network Analytics when configuration discrepancies occur and clear and when configuration compliance rules are violated and cleared.
Viewing TrueSight Network Automation events in Entuity Network Analytics
To view events, from the All Dashboards menu, select the Events option.
