Adding global substitution parameters

This topic provides instructions on adding global substitution parameters.

On the Admin > System Admin > Global Substitution Parameters page, click Add Icon_Add.png and do the following:

  1. Enter information in the following fields:
    • Name: Enter a unique name, up to 255 characters, for the global substitution parameter.
    • Value: Select value of parameter.
    • Hide Value: (Optional) Specify if the global parameter value should not be shown when displaying components (for example, Templates, Rules) that reference the parameter.
  2. Click Save.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
