Configuring email notification for jobs


Users can request to generate email notifications to the Job creator, approver, and other recipients as the Job transitions to various states (for example, Waiting for Approval, Scheduled, Rejected, Completed, Completed with Errors).

On the Admin > Actions > Jobs and click Add and do the following:

  1. On the Details tab, in the Send Notification section, select the On Selected Job Changes option and click Edit
    The Job Notification Parameters page appears.

  2. In the Job State Changes section, select the job state changes, on which you want to send the email notification.
  3. In Email Recipients section, select the email job notification receivers.
  4. In the Job Details and Job Summary Report sections, select whether you want to email a URL link to the Job report for review and analysis. In addition, you can include the report as an attached file to the email notification. 
  5. Select Include All Details to include device transcripts in the attached report.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
