Managing device security profiles
A Device Security Profile (DSP) defines the login credentials used by the TrueSight Network Automation system to perform span actions. The system always uses the DSP for snapshot span actions and policy-initiated span actions (for example, Auto-Remediate using Deploy to Active). Other user-initiated span actions use the DSP when the Source of Device Login Username/Password for Jobs under Admin > System Parameters is set to Device Security Profile.
A profile can be shared by all the devices that share a common set of credentials. Every device must have an assigned DSP.
