Sending policy-based hardware change notifications

TrueSight Network Automation logs an event whenever a hardware change is detected. This event can trigger a policy to send a hardware change notification (for example, email, SNMP), as described in the following sample procedure.

To configure policy-based hardware change notifications (example)

  1. Configure a policy keyword (see Viewing-the-keywords-listing):

  2. Define a condition and assign the keyword to a condition: (see Adding-or-editing-conditions):

  3. Define the policy to send one or more notifications:
