Updates

This patch contains the following updates.


Integration with TrueSight Automation Console for device vulnerability management

TrueSight Network Automation now integrates with TrueSight Automation Console to analyze and remediate network vulnerabilities. Using TrueSight Automation Console, you can:

  • Import scan files that survey the network infrastructure in your environment
  • Map network devices detected in scans to the devices managed in Network Automation
  • Map vulnerabilities in the network infrastructure to the rules for which grammar and corrective actions have been defined in Network Automation
  • Remediate network vulnerabilities by modifying rules
  • View results of remediation actions for network infrastructure

Set up webhooks

You can now use Send HTTP Notification to set up webhooks for jobs, predefined jobs, and policies to notify about the change in their states. For example, when a job is completed with errors, a POST request can be sent.

To set up a webhook, enter the webhook URL and an HTTP status code that is expected by Network Automation for a successful POST request. For more information about setting up webhooks, see Creating-a-generic-job.

If you are installing this patch as a fresh product installation, the process to install the patch is the same as installing any base version.

Upgrading to the patch

You can upgrade to this patch from the following versions of Network Automation: 

  • 20.02, 20.02.01, 20.02.02
  • 8.9.x
  • 8.8.00
  • 8.7.00

If you are upgrading the application server, you must also upgrade all the remote device agents to the same version as TrueSight Network Automation. For upgrade instructions, see Upgrading.
