Enhancements
This release includes the following enhancements.
Performance improvements
Performance of the following components during sorting, filtering, and listing is improved now:
- Devices
- Jobs
- Rules
- Security vulnerabilities
Primary and secondary NAT Address switching at the device agent level
In earlier versions, you could switch between the primary and secondary NAT addresses at the global level. If you changed the address, the change was applicable to all the device agents. Starting with this release, switching at the global level is no longer available. You can switch between the addresses only at the device agent level. If you change the address, the change will be applicable only to the specific device agent.
Starting from this version, you can no longer use the Use Secondary NAT Address For Devices system parameter to switch to the secondary NAT address.
In this version, you can define and use the secondary NAT address in the following ways:
- When adding or editing a device agent using the new Use Secondary NAT Address For Devices field.
- When importing a device using the Device Import Task – When importing devices in the CSV or XML format, you can now define the Secondary NAT Address field for both the primary and auxiliary interfaces.
- When editing multiple devices on the Edit Multiple Devices page – Update the Secondary NAT Address field for both the primary and auxiliary interfaces, if required.
- When using substitution parameters in templates – Use the global substitution parameters, secondary_nat and aux_secondary_nat.
- When generating the Device Inventory report – Select the Secondary NAT Address and Auxiliary Secondary NAT Address fields under Device Interface.
- When attaching the Device Inventory report in the Send Email action – Select the Secondary NAT Address and Auxiliary Secondary NAT Address parameters while attaching the Device Inventory report.
Support for directly exporting the Device Compliance Trace report
In this version, you can directly export the Device Compliance Trace report without viewing it first from the Compliance Summary report. For more information, see Viewing-a-Compliance-Summary-report.
Support for copying rules while copying a rule set
This version adds support for a new POST endpoint, /v4.0/rule_sets/{nameOrKey}/copy. This endpoint creates a copy of a rule set and copies its member rules as well while copying the rule set.
