Modifying device adapters

TrueSight Network Automation provides device adapters for a large number of vendors and models. If your site needs to support other devices, you can create custom adapters. For information about creating custom device adapters, see Developing-device-adapters. Also, you can make modifications in the existing adapters.

To modify a device adapter

  1. Export the device adapter.
  2. Make the changes as needed.
  3. Import the device adapter. 
    A modified adapter appears in the modified state on the Device Adapters page.
