Using


Reports are generated from the data that is derived from the TrueSight Network Automation database.

Report types

TrueSight Network Automation Reporting provides the following types of reports:

  • Out-of-the-box reports: These reports are delivered with Network Automation Reporting. You can use these reports as is or customize them according to your requirements.
  • Custom reports: These reports are model-based reports in which the data, presentation type (chart or table), filter criteria, data items to display, and data grouping and sorting are all customizable.

The following table provides an overview of the out-of-the-box reports available in Network Automation Reporting.

Description

Provide detailed and summary information about the activities that are associated with device-related actions in your networking environment.

Provide detailed and summary information about the configuration changes happened in the devices in your networking environment.

Provide overview and detailed information about the compliance data associated with the devices in your networking environment.

Provide detailed and summary information about device drifts (for example, a discrepancy from the trusted configuration) in your networking environment.

Provide detailed and summary inventory information about devices in your networking environment.

Provide detailed and summary information about the internal and external changes made in your networking environment.

Include multiple reports with data related to productivity, compliance, and maturity in your network environment.

Reporting in multi-site deployments

TrueSight Network Automation Reporting can aggregate data across multiple Network Automation sites. In case of multiple sites, report authors might need to report on a subset of sites or allow report viewers to filter report results by site. Users with the Global Report Administrator role can view data for all the sites in a multi-site deployment. Other users can view data only for the site to which their role has access.

Overview of the TrueSight Network Automation - Data Warehouse console

The TrueSight Network Automation - Data Warehouse console enable you to view the ETL status and launch the TrueSight Smart Reporting - Platform console, which you can use to run and manage your reports.
