How SCOM maps to BMC ProactiveNet


The following figure illustrates how objects and information in SCOM 2007 map to the BMC ProactiveNet console.

Performance data configuration of rule instances configured using SCOM are mapped to statistical attributes in BMC ProactiveNet.

The attribute name is a combination of the rule name and the rule multiple instance (displayed in the Rule column and Instance column in the figure SCOM - Performance data collection rules. For rules without multiple instances, only the rule is displayed as shown in the following figure:

Properties of managed objects are mapped to configuration attributes in BMC ProactiveNet.
