Upgrading BMC ProactiveNet Server 8.5.xx

You cannot directly upgrade to BMC ProactiveNet Server 9.6.00 from BMC ProactiveNet Server 8.5.xx. To upgrade to BMC ProactiveNet Server 9.6.00, perform the following steps:

  1. Upgrade to BMC ProactiveNet version 8.6.02 or 9.0 with the latest patch or Service Pack.

  2. Upgrade to BMC ProactiveNet version 9.5.00.

  3. Upgrade to BMC ProactiveNet version 9.6.00.
