Upgrading BMC ProactiveNet Server 7.7 or 8.0

You cannot directly upgrade to BMC ProactiveNet Server 9.5.00 from BMC ProactiveNet Server 7.7 or 8.0. To upgrade to BMC ProactiveNet Server 9.6.00, perform the following steps:

  1. Upgrade to BMC ProactiveNet version 8.5 with the latest patch or Service Pack.

  2. Upgrade to BMC ProactiveNet version 9.0 with the latest patch.

  3. Upgrade to BMC ProactiveNet version 9.6.00.
