Recommendations for upgrading the BMC PATROL Agent and monitoring solutions to a BMC ProactiveNet environment
BMC recommends the following guidelines when you are upgrading the BMC PATROL Agent and monitoring solutions to a BMC ProactiveNet 9.6 environment:
- Your BMC ProactiveNet infrastructure must include at least one (if not more) Integration Services.
- Configure the local agent (agent that is installed with the BMC ProactiveNet Server) to be a staging Integration Service.
- Add the Integration Services using BMC ProactiveNet Central Monitoring Administration.
