Validating the KB

If the compilation of the BMC ProactiveNet presentation cell's KB fails, resolve the compilation errors, and recompile the BMC ProactiveNet cell by using the following steps:

  1. Check for conflicts. The KB Migration Wizard records them in the log files. The conflicts are also marked clearly in the merged source files.
  2. Ensure that the KB compiles.
  3. Run your own functional test scenarios.

If the BMC ProactiveNet presentation cell fails to start, check the output messages, correct any errors, and then start the BMC ProactiveNet presentation cell.
