Failed to retrieve the CMDB version from AR Server

Explanation:
The connection between the Publishing Server and AR Server might have timed out, or the CMDB information in the /pw/server/etc/pserver.conf file is corrupt.

User Response:

  • Check the CMDB entries in the pserver.conf file.
  • Run the following command to restart the Publishing Server: pw process restart pserver
  • If the problem persists, contact BMC Customer Support.
