Class information not synchronized

BMC-IPS000502I

Class info is not synchronized

Explanation:
Sometimes, for various reasons, class definitions in the BMC Atrium CMDB are not synchronized with the class definitions of the published service model of the cells. For example, a class might be modified in the BMC Atrium CMDB after the service model is published to the cell, which causes the class not to be synchronized.

User Response:
Perform the following tasks for the class definitions to be synchronized:

  1. Open a command-line instance and run pclassinfo -x -o mc_sm_object.baroc.
  2. Replace the existing mc_sm_baroc.object file of the target cell in the installationDirectory/etc/cellName/kb/classes directory.
  3. Recompile the Knowledge Base of the cell and restart the cell.
    mccomp -n <Cellname>

    mcell -n <Cellname>
