Adding an icon for additional component classes

When you integrate BMC ProactiveNet with BMC Atrium CMDB, the BMC ProactiveNet Administration Console and the BMC ProactiveNet Operations Console display a question mark icon as the default icon instead of the icon displayed in BMC Atrium Explorer.

For the BMC Atrium icon to display in the Operations Console

  1.  Place the icon files in the pw/tomcat/webapps/pronto/jsp/swf/assets/icons/ciType directory. You need a 16x16 .gif icon, or a 32x32 .png, or a 128x128 .png icon.
  2. In the BMC_Test custom class, in the component_icon.properties files add pnet.ci.icon.BMC_Test=BMC_Test.
  3. Restart the BMC ProactiveNet Server.
