Integrating with xMatters (formerly AlarmPoint)

Integrating xMatters (formerly known as AlarmPoint) with BMC ProactiveNet provides the ability to notify xMatters users on any device if an event in BMC ProactiveNet meets specified notification criteria. BMC ProactiveNet processes the events it receives and sends them to the xMatters Java Client. The xMatters Java client forwards the events to xMatters, which notifies the user on the specified notification device. You must install the xMatters client on the same host where the BMC ProactiveNet Cell is installed. With the xMatters integration, you can be notified through SMS, e-mail, or phone messages.
