Benefits of integrating with BMC Capacity Optimization
The integration between BMC Capacity Optimization and BMC ProactiveNet provides the following benefits:
- Data integration - BMC Capacity Optimization can leverage data collected by BMC ProactiveNet to support Capacity Management use cases. For information on supported platforms, see Supported-platforms-for-BMC-Capacity-Optimization-integration-with-BMC-ProactiveNet.
- Event integration - BMC Capacity Optimization can send predictive capacity events (for example, related to predicted capacity issues, such as resource saturation) to BMC ProactiveNet so that these events can be displayed in the BMC ProactiveNet Operations Console.
- Contextual cross-launch - from predictive capacity sent by BMC Capacity Optimization to BMC ProactiveNet Operations Console, it is possible to contextually cross-launch to BMC Capacity Optimization Console to further investigate the potential capacity issue.
