Performing a silent uninstallation of the BMC ProactiveNet Integration Service

Uninstallation-related information is not displayed on the console when silent uninstallation begins. However, uninstallation occurs in the background. The progress is logged in a temporary folder during uninstallation.

Perform the following steps to uninstall the BMC ProactiveNet Integration Service:

  1. Locate the following file in the computer on which you have installed the BMC ProactiveNet Integration Service:
    • (Microsoft Windows) installationDirectory\uninstallBPPMAgent\run_uninstall.cmd
    • (Linux or Solaris) installationDirectory/uninstallBPPMAgent\run_uninstall.sh
  2. Run the following command:
    • (Microsoft Windows) run_uninstall.cmd -i silent
    • (Linux or Solaris) ./run_uninstall.sh -i silent

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
