BMC ProactiveNet CLI commands
This section contains information about BMC ProactiveNet Command Line Interface (CLI) commands.
The BMC ProactiveNet Command Line Interface provides:
- An alternative to using the Administration Console for BMC ProactiveNet setup operation.
- The ability to perform diagnostics on your system.
The BMC ProactiveNet Command Line Interface (CLI) must be launched before running any of the BMC ProactiveNet CLI commands. For help on how to display the CLI, see Accessing-the-Command-Line-Interface. It is helpful to be familiar with Windows command interpreter, UNIX, and shell commands when using the CLI.
All BMC ProactiveNet CLIs can be used for the BMC ProactiveNet Server. Some BMC ProactiveNet CLIs can be used with the BMC ProactiveNet Integration Service. Commands that can be used with the Integration Service will be noted specifically in the individual command description.
