Changing the BMC ProactiveNet Server IP address
You might need to change your IP address for the self-monitoring service if you are using a Network Address Translation (NAT) firewall, or you have a connectivity issue.
To change the IP address of the BMC ProactiveNet Server
- From the Administration Console, select Advanced Options > Agent.
- Right-click ProactiveNet Server, and select Edit.
- In the Edit Remote Agent dialog box, replace the DNS Name/IP address with the new IP address.
- Click OK to close the dialog box and save your changes.
- Restart the self-monitoring service.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
