Deleting user groups

Perform the following procedure to delete an existing user group.

To delete a user group

1. In the BMC ProactiveNet Administration Console, select the Administration > General Administration tab.
2. Expand the Advanced Options folder.
3. Expand the User Group folder.

4. Select and right-click the user group name to delete and click Delete.

   Warning

   Note

   If a user is attached to only one user group, you cannot delete that user group until you disassociate the user group from the user.

It is recommended to delete all unused user groups. The administrator must review all the user groups and delete all user groups that are not used.
