Prerequisite tasks

Before configuring policies that are based on monitor types for SAP Solution Manager, ensure that you have performed the following prerequisite tasks:

  • Ensure that you have performed all relevant filtering of SAP systems and CCMS Contexts that you do not want to monitor through the PATROL environment.
  • Change the limit for maximum number of monitor types defined for the adapter:
    1.  Locate the pronet.conf file
    2. Change the value of the pronet.autosync.monitortypes.allowed property to 2000.
    3. Save the file.
    4. Restart the server.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
