BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management Reporting 9.5.02 offers following enhancements:

Support for Microsoft SQL Server Standard and Enterprise Editions

BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management Reporting now supports Microsoft SQL Server Standard and Enterprise editions as the BMC ProactiveNet Reporting Engine database. For information about the versions supported, see System-requirements.

Support for Oracle Standard Edition

BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management Reporting 9.5.02 supports Oracle Standard Edition. For more information, see System-requirements.

Migration to SAP BusinessObjects 4.0 UNX Universe

BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management Reporting 9.5.02 now supports SAP BusinessObjects 4.0 .unx Universe. You can migrate the custom reports you have created in .unv Universe.

Support for operating systems

BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management Reporting 9.5.02 now supports the following operating systems. For more information, see System-requirements

Cross functional Report for Event, Impact, and Performance data

You can now create cross functional ad hoc reports by combining information and data of Event, Impact, and Performance based on business requirements, by using the available universe objects.

Ability to use the read-only database user for configuring the Report Engine database connection with SAP BusinessObjects

In BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management Reporting 9.5.02, Report Engine has read only user with access to the tables, views and function in the Report Engine database. This user is used in configuring the SAP BusinessObjects database connection to retrieve the data from the Report Engine database.

Downloading the installation files

BMC Software products are generally distributed by way of the BMC Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) site. This section contains instructions for downloading the BMC ProactiveNet Report Engine and SAP BusinessObjects installation files from the EPD website.

1. Create a temporary directory on your computer for the product installation files.

2. Go to the Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) website.

3. Enter your BMC Support account user ID and password, and then click Submit.
4. Click Download Product.
5. On the Export Compliance and Access Terms page, provide the required information, agree to the terms of the agreements, and click Continue.
6. If you are accessing the EPD site for the first time, create an EPD profile to specify the language(s) and platform(s) that you want to see; otherwise, skip to the next step. For information about EPD profiles, see the Profile section of the Help page for the EPD website.
7. In the Components view, verify that the correct profile is displayed for your download purpose, and click the Licensed Products tab.
8. Based on your license entitlement, scroll down, select Performance Management, and click Go. Alternatively, use the Filter Products: control in the tab to search for the product. 
9. In the right pane, navigate to BMC ProactiveNet Reporting.
10. Click the Products tab, select 9.5.02 from the Version: list, select the required platform, and click Go..

    2. To download BMC ProactiveNet Report Engine installation files, select Solution Reports - BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management 9.5.02 with BRF 4.0, depending on your operating system.
12. Click Download (FTP) or Download Manager:
    • Download (FTP) places the selected items in an FTP directory, and the credentials and FTP instructions are sent to you by email.
    • Download Manager enables you to download multiple files consecutively, and to resume an interrupted download if the connection drops.
      This method requires a one-time installation of the Akamai NetSession Client program on the target computer and is usually the faster and more reliable way to transfer files. A checksum is used to verify file integrity automatically.
