Step 1: Installing BMC ProactiveNet Server
The BMC ProactiveNet Server installation installs the following components:
- BMC ProactiveNet Server
- BMC ProactiveNet Self-Monitoring Service (also known as the local agent)
- BMC ProactiveNet Operations Console
- BMC ProactiveNet Central Monitoring Administration
- BMC ProactiveNet Administration Console
- (Optional) Sybase as BMC ProactiveNet database
