Updating notification registry value

After you upgrade to BMC ProactiveNet Report Engine 8.6.02, you must update the Notification Registration value for the BMC ProactiveNet Report Engine to collect causal event data. If you do not update the registry value, no data is displayed on the causal report. For more information on causal report, see Causal report.

To update the Notification Registry value

1. Launch the BMC ProactiveNet Administration Console.
2. On the Administration tab, click the Dynamic Data Editor tab.
3. On the left pane, navigate to MyProduction > pncell_ nameOfCell > Data > Cell Data > Notification Registry Internal > Notification Registry.
    The available notification registries are displayed.
4. On the right pane, select the notification registry for BMC ProactiveNet Report Engine.
5. On the toolbar, click the Update data instance icon.
6. On the Edit tab, in the causal_event_notification_mode list, click Delta.
7. Click OK.
