Note

If you upgraded the Report Engine from any previous version (9.0 or 9.0.20) to 9.0.22, you can install the Report Engine version 9.0.22 in another host with the same database user.

To upgrade multiple Report Engines that use a single database

  • If your environment consists of only a single Report Engine, you can directly upgrade the Report Engine from a previous version (9.0.00, or, 9.0.20.x) to 9.0.22. Later, you can install more instances of the Report Engine and use the same database user that you used in while upgrading the single instance of the Report Engine.
  • If your environment consists of  multiple Report Engines that point to different databases, and you want to upgrade these Report Engines to version 9.0 Service Pack 2 and merge data from the different databases to a single database, follow the procedure documented in the Knowledge Article KA401222.
