Report Engine CLI commands

BMC ProactiveNet Report Engine provides a command line-based console through which you can monitor and report the status of business services and their components. It supports the following command-line interface (CLI) commands:

To run a CLI command for BMC ProactiveNet Report Engine

For Solaris and Linux, after the installation open a new session to run BMC ProactiveNet Performance Management registration CLI.

  1. At the command line, change the current directory path:

    For (Windows): BMCProactiveNetReportEngineInstallationDirectory\bin\reportsCLI

    For (Solaris): BMCProactiveNetReportEngineInstallationDirectory/bin/reportsCLI

    For (Linux): BMCProactiveNetReportEngineInstallationDirectory/bin/reportsCLI

  2. Type a CLI command, and press Enter.

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
