Enhancements in version 2.40.00

BMC Software is releasing version 2.4.00 of the BMC ProactiveNet Oracle WebLogic Monitoring that includes the following new features.

Support for configuration in a mixed SSL environment

This version of BMC ProactiveNet Oracle WebLogic Monitoring can now be configured using separate SSL configurations for different servers. For example the connection to the Admin Server can be configured using 1-way SSL and connection to the Managed Server configured using 2-way SSL.

Integration with BMC ProactiveNet Central Monitoring Administration

This version of BMC ProactiveNet Oracle WebLogic Monitoring is now compatible with BMC ProactiveNet Central Monitoring Administration. This feature is supported by BMC ProactiveNet version 9.0.00.

Overload value added to JDBC poolstate attribute

This release has added a new value of Overload to the Poolstate attribute of JDBC (WebLogic JDBC monitor type).
 The possible JDBC pool state values are now:
 0 = Running
 1 = Suspended or Shutdown
 2 = Unknown
 3 = Unhealthy
 4 = Overload (WebLogic version 9.x and later)

Overload value added to the ConnectionStatus attribute

This release has added a new value of Overload to the HealthStatus attribute of the following monitor types (Open Weblogic Managed Server , Open Weblogic Local Managed Server, Weblogic Admin Server monitor types ).
 The possible Managed Server health state values are now:
 0 = Ok
 1 = Warn
 2 = Critical
 3 = Failed/Unknown
 4 = Overload (WebLogic version 9.x and later)

RegistrationStatus attribute added

This version of BMC ProactiveNet Oracle WebLogic Monitoring supports the RegistrationStatus (WebLogic Environment monitor type) attribute.
 This monitor type monitors registration, and sends an alarm if the registration fails.
 Instances of the new BEAWLS_ENVIRONMENT monitor type represent a connection between the WebLogic KM and a WebLogic server.
